I came to Blue looking for something different.
I had been in the healthcare industry for a number of years and I had become burnt out with the day-to-day operations. One of my mentors mentioned Blue, and I did a quick search online and noticed a job opening. I quickly applied and after a few months of meeting, I accepted the position and started my journey.
When I was first hired, my supervisor and I discussed my career aspirations and one of things that I continued to stress to him was the need to learn. I had been out of school for several years, but my healthcare career had been limited to managing practices or smaller offices. I wanted to learn the industry from the bottom up.

Since joining Blue, I have been placed in the position to do everything that I have wanted to do. I have been able to connect with teams like Medicare Bad Debt and conduct audits. I have been a part of larger Revenue Cycle projects and taken the lead on certain aspects of the larger project. I have also been afforded the opportunity to still grow and develop. Being accepted into the BRIDGES leadership development program here at Blue has been an amazing experience.
