Two teams of volunteers from Blue & Co.’s Lexington, Kentucky, office were busy on this year’s Do Good Blue Day at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass (RMHC).
The teams assembled in the common area and learned about the 40-year-old Bluegrass chapter and its plans for expansion, before taking a guided tour of the house. During the tour, volunteers witnessed the positive way this charity has impacted our community by comforting and caring for families who have a loved one suffering a health crisis and need a place to stay.

Blue & Co. employees donated money to purchase food and prepare sandwiches, fruit, and a variety of desserts to serve 40 residents. They also purchased pantry and wish list items, as well as cleaned, sorted, organized, and re-stocked the walk-in pantries.
There was even time for volunteers to create floral arrangements with flowers donated by another local business. It was a great team-building experience and well worth the effort. We owe it to ourselves, and our communities, to offer our support, not just on Do Good Blue Day, but on any day throughout the year.
